The oil and gas industry’s influence on our modern societies is staggering. In fact, today’s global transportation system and industrial sector would probably look entirely different if the new oil economy had never broken through in the 19th century. As such, oil and gas have been and still is playing a central role in international relations and more particularly in the Middle East where it is abundant. Dr Mamdouh Salameh joined us to answer all of our questions on this topic: As an international Oil economist and Visiting Professor of Energy Economics at ESCP Business School, his experience in the oil and gas industry seemed particularly relevant for this episode.
