The Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), a top global finance professional organisation has accredited our MSc in Energy Management (MEM) - an 18-month, full-time postgraduate programme as an ERP Academic Partner.

This collaboration will boost the employability of our students across the world by allowing them to gain competitive advantage and achieve professional development goals. More than 1,500 ERPs are currently employed globally by oil and gas companies, crude oil refiners, power generators, electric and gas utility companies, commodity training firms, investment banks, and consulting firms with energy practices.

The GARP accreditation will provide our MEM programme guidance in aligning its risk management offerings with global industry needs and best practices. The partnership will also offer a framework to integrate GARP’s ERP certification programme directly into our MSc in Energy Management.

Acknowledging its world-class academic standards and industry relevance of the MSc in Energy Management, Academic Director Prof. Dr Kostas Andriosopoulos welcomed the announcement as a symbolic milestone in the partnership. He said “The GARP accreditation recognises our commitment to educate the future leaders in the energy industry. ESCP is now one of the top business schools in the United Kingdom to become an accredited academic partner with GARP for ERP certification.”
