The Emirates Global EVRT team had an early start at the Marjan Island Resort & Spa in Ras al-Khaimah, with planning for the day taking place before breakfast. Many took extra time to investigate the range of electric bikes on display around the hotel.
Upon departure from the hotel, we headed straight to Jabel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE. With an elevation of 1,892m, this rocky mountain sits on the border with Oman (where it actually reaches even higher with an elevation of 1,911m) and, with its dramatic scenery, helps provide one of the best driving roads in the UAE.
This particular route was not only selected for its natural beauty; the idea was also to give the team a chance to experience EVs in a range of terrains. These mountains are the perfect environment for car fanatics as well as the serious athletes who enjoy riding in this area. We stopped to take photos and enjoy lunch at this beautiful location, before hitting the road again. This time our destination was Fujairah, where we checked into the Novotel for our overnight stay.
The evening featured a relaxing dinner and fabulous networking event with local Tesla owners. We swapped experiences of driving these luxury vehicles, and introduced them to ESCP and the programmes it offers.
