ESCP Business School and its Energy Management Centre (EMC) are delighted to announce the appointment of the new Energy Society board members for the 2024–2025 term. Elected by the dynamic twelfth cohort of MSc in Energy Management students, this talented team is ready to lead an engaging and impactful year for the society.

- Sharing relevant articles and publications on social media to foster meaningful discussions among participants
- Networking opportunities with industry leaders and members of our alumni community
Students from all ESCP programmes and campuses are invited to participate in these initiatives, designed to provide valuable insights into the energy sector, fostering professional growth and forward-thinking perspectives.
The newly elected President of the Energy Society, Andreas Kristensen, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming term, stating: "As board members, we strive to create a dynamic society shaped by the voices of our members. Based on student feedback, we have curated a range of projects that include site visits across the UK and France, alongside events focusing on topics such as Finance and exchange markets, Nuclear energy, Carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCS/CCUS), and Renewable energy."
2025 Projects
Site Visits will take place from January to June, and will include:
Oil/gas refinery in the UK
The board aims to organise a visit to a refinery that not only refines traditional fuels but has also initiated projects incorporating sustainable technologies such as biogas, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) to refine sustainable fuels.
Nuclear plant visit in France
During their Paris term, MSc in Energy Management students plan to explore a nuclear plant. These visits aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the key aspects and challenges of energy production, framed through the lens of sustainability, the energy transition, and innovative technologies.
