Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos, EMC Executive Director to co- chair the 4th National Conference of the Financial Engineering and Banking Society's (FEBS) together with EMC Experts Professor Emilios Galariotis, CFRM's Director and Dr. Michael Doumpos from the Financial Engineering Laboratory in the Technical University of Crete.
The event will take place on 20-21 of December, 2013 at the hotel InterContinental (89-93 Syngrou Avenue, Athens, Greece).
The Conference covers a wide range of topics related to financial engineering and banking. The meeting puts special emphasis on the quantitative aspects of financial decision making and risk management, focusing on new advances in statistical/econometric modelling, new artificial intelligence techniques, and operations research approaches.
Selected papers from the Conference will be published after review in a special issue arranged in International Journal of Financial Engineering and Risk Management (IJFERM).
