ESCP Business School and its Energy Management Centre (EMC) are delighted to announce that our ninth cohort of MSc in Energy Management students recently nominated the board members of the School’s Energy Society.
Board members offer leadership for carrying out the society’s initiatives and engage ESCP students from all campus in industry-related events, maximise networking opportunities and help them develop professional skills through a range of activities:

- Promotion of energy-related initiatives and the latest developments in the industry
- Share industry-related articles and publications through social media to promote constructive discussion among its participants

COP 26 Outcomes – Invited Talks in London
When: November & December
Project Leader: Natalia Alonso
Overview: The COP26 summit will congregate parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The UK became the first major economy to pass net zero emissions law, and it is committed to working with all nations and joining efforts with companies, civil society and people on the frontline of climate change to inspire climate action ahead of COP26. In November and December, our energy society will invite top energy professionals to discuss the latest developments on COP26. More details to be announced soon. Stay tuned!
Energy Outlook– Invited Talks in London

Networking event with ESCP’s MSc in Energy Management Alumni

Overview: The goal of the energy society is to expose its members to numerous professional networking opportunities. This event will gather current MEM students and alumni of the programme with the aim of providing its members an opportunity to exchange valuable information and experiences, insights of the different working fields within energy, forming professional relationships and enhancing career opportunities.
Renewable Energy Facility Visit
When: February
Project Leader: Nicolas Ferzly & Tony Aoun
Overview: The UK is already very successful at using sustainable energy. A new renewable record-breaking was set in 2020 after its share of the UK power generation rose to 43.1%. It is the first-time renewables has surpassed fossil fuels in the UK.
Our MSc in Energy Management students will visit a renewable energy facility during their London term. The visit will help them to gain a deep understanding of the renewable energy business and its technological concepts. More details will be announced soon. Stay tuned!

Overview: In order to keep enhancing the knowledge of its members, the ESCP Energy Society will invite top notch energy professionals to present the latest trends in energy efficiency, hydrogen and its importance in the energy transition towards net zero emissions.
St. Petersburg International Gas Forum – Youth Day

The Youth Day has been held annually since 2015 and is part of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. It is the second stage Energy Challenge - a major international project that aims to develop an interactive platform that brings together top students and industry experts from across the globe to share cutting-edge knowledge about the energy business and find ways to overcome current challenges in the industry.
For next year’s event, our students are aiming to represent the United Kingdom in this fascinating forum.
The Energy Society is based at the ESCP London Campus and it is open to all students, alumni and academic staff at the School.
