The conference titled 'The future of Greek Gas and Power Markets: Looking ahead with optimism and realism' took place on 29 April, 2014 at the Conference Center of Ethniki Insurance (103-105 Syngrou Avenue, Athens, Greece) and followed by an exclusive dinner at the InterContinental Hotel (89-93 Syngrou Avenue).
The Conference was organised by the Energy Management Centre (EMC) at ESCP Business School and the Greek Energy Forum (GEF), under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Hellenic Republic.
We were honoured by the attendance of the Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Mr. Makis Papageorgiou, who led the Opening Speech. The Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Antonis C. Samaras delivered the Opening Speech at the Closing Conference Dinner.
Government representatives, international organisations, financial institutions, energy corporations, and top energy experts discussed the current and future challenges and opportunities of Greek Gas and Power Markets.
