ESCP Europe Award
Professor Constantin Zopounidis received an award from ESCP for his long-standing research contribution in the field of financial engineering and decision making, during the 2nd International Conference of the Financial Engineering & Banking Society, London, 7-8 June 2012. Professor Constantin Zopounidis is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Financial Engineering and Risk Management and the International Journal of Multicriteria Decision Making. This is the first time that a Professor has been given the ESCP award which was presented by ESCP's Vice Dean and Vice Director General, Professor Alain Chevalier. In future years, other outstanding professors are expected to be recognised by ESCP Business School, the oldest Business School in the world.
FEBS Award
Professor Ike Mathur received the annual honorary award for his outstanding achievements in his field from the Financial Engineering and Banking Society (FEBS). Ike Mathur is Professor of Finance at Southern Illinois University. He has widely published in top journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Business, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, etc. He is the author or co-author of over 120 articles and 14 books. He serves on the editorial boards of a number of journals and he is currently the executive editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance.
