ESCP Award
Professor Ike Mathur received an award from ESCP for his long-standing research contribution in the fields of banking and finance during the 3rd International Conference of the Financial Engineering & Banking Society (FEBS). The event took place during the Gala dinner on 7th June, 2013 at Hotel Potocki. Ike Mathur is Professor of Finance at Southern Illinois University. He has widely published in top journals such as the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Business, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, etc. He is the author or co-author of over 120 articles and 14 books. He serves on the editorial boards of a number of journals and he is currently the executive editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance.
FEBS Award
Professor Darrell Duffie received the annual honorary award for his outstanding achievements in the field of finance from the Financial Engineering and Banking Society (FEBS). Darrell Duffie is the Dean Witter Distinguished Professor of Finance at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the Financial Advisory Roundtable of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a Fellow and member of the Council of the Econometric Society, a Research Fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research, a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a member of the board of directors of Moody's Corporation since 2008. Duffie was the 2009 president of the American Finance Association. His recent books include How Big Banks Fail (Princeton University Press, 2010), Measuring Corporate Default Risk (Oxford University Press, 2011), and Dark Markets: Asset Pricing and Information Transmission in Over-the-Counter Markets (Princeton University Press, 2012).
