Energy Session on "Bi-regional Energy collaboration: Challenges and Opportunities", coordinated by Prof. Dr Kostas Andriosopoulos.
The Conference was organised by Centre d’Etudes et de Recherche Amérique Latine Europe (CERALE), in collaboration with the Energy Management Centre (EMC) at ESCP Business School. The event took place on 30th - 31st May, 2016 in Paris.
The meeting aimed to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and to present new research results on the theory and modern practice of modeling, risk management, asset pricing and energy management, with a focus on energy modeling and regulation. The event brought together government representatives, international organisations, financial institutions, energy corporations, law firms and top energy experts to discuss the current challenges and opportunities of the Energy industry in Latin America and Europe.

Objectives
• To generate and share new theoretical and practical approaches to management in the two regions by identifying their specificities and promoting convergence.
• To help academic circles offer relevant content that may be used by key players in corporate organisations, decision-makers and public authorities active in the two regions.
Who should attend?
The 2016 CERALE conference was designed for researchers and postgraduate students enrolled in one of the member institutions of CERALE as well as other European and Latin American universities with an interest in the conference theme.
The Organising Committee acknowledged the importance of the participation of corporate managers and alumni in the debates, the working groups, roundtables and plenary sessions.
Attendees were professors and researchers; postgraduate and doctoral students; leaders of public and private enterprises as well as senior government representatives.
