Denise MASSEY

With more than 16 years of strategic planning and development experience, Denise heads up the world-class Energy Innovation Centre, taking the lead in assisting individuals and businesses in getting their ideas to commercialisation.

In her career to date, Denise has acquired extensive skills and knowledge in developing new markets in the private sector to deliver outsourced public services. With experience on both a national and international scale, Denise has worked with Eastern European Governments to advise them in the management and development of emerging markets to deliver public services.

Over the last four years, Denise has been instrumental in the launch, development and growth of the Energy Innovation Centre and has worked closely with her team to take the Centre from a publically grant funded organisation to a private commercial entity.

Denise works closely with organisations such as Ofgem and the Department for Energy and Climate Change. She persistently represents and protects the interests of the innovator and the small business in a variety of national forums.
